Dear K1 Families,
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
It is hard to believe that 2022 is here and we are beginning Term 2! We enjoyed connecting with families during our week of Home Based Learning, and are delighted to be back together at school. The Year of the Tiger is just around the corner, and we know that many families have special celebrations to look forward to in the coming weeks.
Next week, we will begin our new Unit of Study focusing on matter and materials. In K1, we work to integrate all areas of learning. Science concepts will be introduced, and students will also explore materials in ways that support learning in the areas of literacy, maths, outdoor education, and the arts.
